BELGIAN MALINOIS

This extremely intelligent, remarkable easy to train breed of dog originated  in Belgium and was named after the town of  Malines in  Belgium.

This delightful dog, usually brown or tan in color, has a distinctive black mask that highlights the alert intelligent expression.

The Malinois makes an excellent pet, devoted to its owner, and despite the fact that it is not a very large or  heavy dog – being only about 22 in height and weighing about 50 pounds, because of its fearless, lively nature, can prove to be an excellent guard.

In Obedience competitions where speed of movement is important the Malinois can hold its own with any breed and often features among the top winners,
